Common questions,
honest answers.

Everything you need to know about who is behind this, how your information is used, and what happens with the results.

This survey is open to Northbrook residents. We ask for a Northbrook address to confirm that participants actually live here. The goal is to gather local opinion, so we want to make sure the feedback comes from people who have a genuine stake in what downtown becomes.
Your address confirms you live in Northbrook. That is all it is used for. It will not be published, shared with third parties, or used for any marketing purpose. Having verified local participants makes the final report more credible when it goes to Village Trustees.

No. This initiative is not backed by any developer, real estate company, or commercial interest. It was started by Northbrook residents acting independently. We are not advocating for any specific development plan or outcome.
No. This is not affiliated with any political candidate, party, or campaign. It is a resident input effort focused solely on gathering and organizing community feedback about the future of downtown.
A survey closing date will be announced to participants. The summary report will be published after the survey closes and analysis is complete. Every participant who signed up for updates will receive the report by email before it is publicly shared.
The completed summary report will be formally submitted to Village Trustees. We will present the data clearly, showing where residents agree, where there is disagreement, and which priorities came up most consistently. Survey participants receive the identical document.

No. The concept illustration shared on this site is one idea that has been circulating in community discussions. It is not an approved plan, a proposal from the Village, or an endorsed design. It is shared so residents have something concrete to react to in the survey. You are encouraged to support, question, or push back on any part of it.
